#AskAboutAsthma Week: 9 – 15 September
For 2024, the #AskAboutAsthma campaign will run from 9 – 15 September. This year’s theme is Helping children and young people with asthma live their best lives. We’re looking at quality of life and what we can do to ensure all kids with asthma have as full lives as everyone else.
The #AskAboutAsthma campaign encourages children and young people (CYP), their families, and those involved in their care, to ensure four simple and effective measures to help them control their asthma: 1. Get an asthma action plan in place2. Understand how to use inhalers correctly3. Schedule an asthma review – every year and after every attack4. Consider air pollution and its impact on lung health
