Cervical Screening Awareness Week aims to highlight the importance of regular cervical screening for women’s health which can prevent up to 75% of instances of cervical cancer.

Around one in four women do not respond to their cervical screening invitation. The aim of this year’s awareness week is to encourage uptake of cervical screening, as well as provide information and reassurance to women about this

Should you need more information on your practice’s cervical screening coverage, support on improving screening uptake or additional resources for groups facing health inequalities (eg patients with learning disability; SMI; non-English speakers; and transgender & non-binary patients), please contact your Practice.
