April is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month, offering a great opportunity to promote bowel cancer screening, and bowel cancer symptom awareness to your patients and staff.
 
Over 16,800 people die from bowel cancer each year. However, this shouldn’t be the case as the disease is treatable and curable, especially if diagnosed early. More than nine in 10 people will survive bowel cancer if diagnosed at the earliest stage.
