Baby/ Child Registration

The ICB would not support a baby/child being registered without a parent/guardian also being registered at the practice. This would only be very rarely excepted in the case of independent housing for older children.

There is no need to provide any form of identification when registering with a practice, as such if a mother or father register with a child and they it’s their child this would have to be taken at face value unless there are clear safeguarding concerns.
