Pneumococcal Vaccination for people experiencing homelessness

From 1 October 2026, people aged 16 years and over experiencing homelessness will become eligible for a single dose of pneumococcal vaccine (PCV20).
 
This includes people who are sleeping rough or staying in homeless hostels or night shelters. Please see NHSE letter for full details: People experiencing homelessness eligible for pneumococcal vaccination letter – GOV.UK
 
Pneumococcal vaccines can be co-administered with COVID-19, RSV, Shingles and seasonal flu vaccines, where appropriate.
